Recap: Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks vs. Christian Heritage Lions
The Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 25 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Christian Heritage 61-31 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-15.
It was another big night for Tanah Becker, who scored 17 points along with six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Troyate Faye, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds and three blocks.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 6-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Christian Heritage, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
Hamilton Heights Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against DME Academy Gold at 2:30 p.m. on December 14th. Christian Heritage will take on North Cobb Christian in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. North Cobb Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
