Softball Recap: West Brook Has No Trouble Against Port Arthur Memorial

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sterling, West Brook was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Port Arthur Memorial Titans as West Brook made off with a 16-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bruins considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Calleigh Burton (2027) was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (four). Another player making a difference was Madelynn Salvaggio (2025), who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
