Soccer Recap: Marathon Takes a Loss

Marathon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Archimedean. That's two games in a row now that the Dolphins have lost by exactly three goals.

Marathon's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Archimedean, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5-1.

Marathon will welcome Mater Bay Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Archimedean, they will venture away from home to face off against Westwood Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westwood Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.3 goals per game this season.
