Baseball Recap: Morton Ranch Comes Up Short

Morton Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Tompkins Falcons, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 on Friday.

Morton Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Tompkins, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Morton Ranch is set to face off against their familiar foe Mayde Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tompkins will challenge rival Cinco Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
