Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Eastside

The Riverside Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Eastside Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Riverside's win against Nation Ford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors skirted past the Falcons 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Riverside.

Meanwhile, Eastside had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Hillcrest by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

Eastside hit the Rams with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Christos Fotinos, Titus Aim, and Asher Wilson.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Eastside, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Riverside took their victory against Eastside when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 4-1 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
