Baseball Preview: Lennard Longhorns vs. Newsome Wolves
Lennard is 1-6 against Newsome since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lennard Longhorns will head out on the road to challenge the Newsome Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Lennard has not struggled against Bloomingdale recently, they managed to flip the script on Friday. Lennard narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Bloomingdale 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Lennard.
Lennard got a great performance from Zack Bird as he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
