Basketball Recap: Flower Mound Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Flower Mound, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 50-44 W over the Hebron Hawks on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Jaguars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Hawks are ranked 140th).

The win snapped Flower Mound's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-17 record. As for Hebron, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Flower Mound Jaguars face off against the Guyer Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Guyer has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 171 points over their last three games. Hebron has already played their next contest (against Coppell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
