Baseball Recap: Caro Comes Up Short

Caro lost to Unionville-Sebewaing back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caro saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xander Grice, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That run was Grice's first of the season. Another was Trentin Hessling, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Caro now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Caro will take on Carrollton at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Unionville-Sebewaing has already played their next game (against Ubly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
