The West Orange-Stark Mustangs pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Willis by a score of 58-55.

Willis found their leader in underclassman Amy Roberts, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Davis, who scored 8 points.

West Orange-Stark's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Willis, their win bumped their record up to 1-6.

West Orange-Stark will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Port Neches-Groves at 5:00 p.m. on November 28th. Willis' road trip will continue as they head out to face Magnolia at 11:30 a.m. on November 20th.
