After flying high against ALA - Anthem South last Tuesday, Arizona Lutheran Academy came back down to earth. The Coyotes took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phoenix Country Day Eagles on Thursday. The Coyotes' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Isaiah Adriano made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Rafael Guerrero, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Arizona Lutheran Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Phoenix Country Day, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Arizona Lutheran Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Santa Cruz Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Phoenix Country Day, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 12th.
