Paetow proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Cypress Ridge Rams. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

The team relied heavily on GLORYA HOWLAND, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stole at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was AMANDA VASQUEZ, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Paetow's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Cypress Ridge, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Paetow will take on Cypress Lakes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cypress Ridge, they will be taking part in a tournament against Spring Woods at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
