Fair Grove barely beat Springfield Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles never let the Fighting Irish get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Saturday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

Fair Grove pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Springfield Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Fair Grove has already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Hollister on the 26th. As for Springfield Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-2 win against Ash Grove on the 26th.
