City View came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 56-13 win over the Valley View Eagles. The contest marked the Mustangs' most dominant victory of the season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for City View, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Whiteside, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

City View's record is now 8-2. As for Valley View, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, City View will look to defend their home field on Friday against Brady at 7:00 p.m. Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
