Mulberry had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Bartow Yellow Jackets by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won four in a row.

Mateus Cusmanich paced Mulberry's offense, picking up 21 kills. Cusmanich got some help from Jayden Williams and his 43 assists. Cusmanich was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Mulberry's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Bartow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Mulberry will square off against Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bloodhounds will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Bartow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
