Volleyball Recap: Westover Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Bulls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Westover was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made E.E. Smith work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 14-25, 20-25, 25-14, 15-5.

Westover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for E.E. Smith, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Westover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against South View on the 24th. As for E.E. Smith, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against St. Pauls on the 25th.
