Bishop Diego managed to keep up with Dunn until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bishop Diego Cardinals came up short against the Dunn Earwigs, falling 6-2. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Earwigs: they've now lost six in a row.

Thomas Gaggs wasn't going to let Dunn walk away unscathed as he scored both of Bishop Diego's goals, bringing his season total up to 12 goals.

Bishop Diego's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2-1. As for Dunn, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Bishop Diego will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Foothill Tech at 3:00 p.m. Foothill Tech is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. Dunn has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Thacher on the 11th.
