Odessa-Montour kept a clean sheet against Newark Valley on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Odessa-Montour, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Riley Yaw and Max Sgrecci scored all three of Odessa-Montour's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Odessa-Montour pushed their record up to 8-5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Newark Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
