Preview: Potterville Vikings vs. Saranac Redhawks
Potterville is 10-0 against Saranac since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Potterville Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Saranac Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. Potterville will be strutting in after a win while Saranac will be coming in after a loss.
Potterville scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 75-40 victory over Lansing Christian. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Potterville has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Saranac came up short against St. Patrick on Thursday and fell 62-52. Saranac has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Potterville's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for Saranac, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
Everything went Potterville's way against Saranac in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as Potterville made off with a 59-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Potterville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
