Palmview had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.1 goals) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Palmview Lobos who were credited with the win. The Palmview Lobos got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Nixon Mustangs's five. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 back in January.

Palmview pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Nixon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
