Volleyball Recap: Fruitport Gets the Win

Fruitport won the last time they faced Ravenna and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs.

Among those leading the charge was Alexa Sweet, who had seven assists and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Porter Johnson also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Fruitport's win bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Ravenna, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Fruitport and Ravenna will both be playing Ludington the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Orioles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
