Basketball Game Preview: Page County Panthers vs. Buffalo Gap Bison

The Page County Panthers and the Buffalo Gap Bison will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Page County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Friday, Page County came up short against Fort Defiance and fell 58-51.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Gap's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Friday. They took a 46-27 bruising from Skyline. The match marked the Bison's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Buffalo Gap fell to 5-1. As for Page County, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Page County skirted past Buffalo Gap 25-23 when the teams last played back in February of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for Page County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
