Soccer Recap: Claremore Falls Short of Edison in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Claremore can now relate to. They fell just short of the Edison Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Claremore can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Edison are ranked fifth).

Claremore's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-9. As for Edison, the win keeps they at an undefeated 19-0.

While Claremore had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
