Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lutheran couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 55-42 to the Green Mountain Rams on Tuesday. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Green Mountain's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Simon Lunsford, who shot 53% from the field on his way to 20 points and six boards. Lunsford's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Gutierrez, who posted 12 points.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Green Mountain, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-9.

As of now, neither Lutheran nor Green Mountain have any future games scheduled.
