Softball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson managed to slip by Kamiak the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Timberwolves came up short against the Knights on Monday, falling 6-0.

Clara Dorgan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Kamiak, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Coincidentally, Jackson and Kamiak will both be playing Arlington the next time they take the field. The Knights will head out to face the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Timberwolves will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
