Moscow entered their tilt with Emmett on Thursday with 14 consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 15. They put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 8-1 win.

Sam Rigney looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyson Izzo, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of JP Breese, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Moscow's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Emmett, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
