Football Recap: Susquehannock Takes a Loss

Susquehannock had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-7 to make it four. They were beaten by the West York Area Bulldogs 35-7. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Jacob Burns threw for 66 yards while completing 72.7% of his passes. Ben Walker was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

As for West York Area, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Susquehannock is ranked 422nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

West York Area found their leader in sophomore Jensen Ferber, who threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns.
