Baseball Preview: Lincoln Trojans vs. Kimball Jaguars
For the second straight game, Lincoln will face off against Kimball. The Trojans will take on the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
On Wednesday, Lincoln made easy work of Kimball and carried off a 12-1 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.
Izaak Hill looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Aiden Williams was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March. Brayden Glaser was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
