Elizabeth Dunmire was a one-man wrecking crew for Villa Angela-St. Joseph as she dropped a double-double on 34 points and 18 rebounds. Kya Bell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.

John F. Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
