Volleyball Recap: Eastlake Comes Up Short

Eastlake's tournament run continued when they took on Murrieta Mesa on Saturday. The Titans fell 2-0 to the Rams.

Murrieta Mesa's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamilah Rios, who had four aces and three digs.

Eastlake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Murrieta Mesa, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Eastlake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against San Dieguito Academy on the 16th. As for Murrieta Mesa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Scripps Ranch on the 16th.
