The Franklin Panthers will square off against the Smoky Mountain Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Meanwhile, Smoky Mountain had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 1-0 shutout. The Mustangs' winning goal came courtesy of Eduin Maldonado.
Franklin dropped their record down to 6-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Smoky Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
