Scotland extended the longest winning streak in 4A Conference 16 this week by beating Pinecrest, 75-28. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Fighting Scots.
Richmond took down Purnell Swett 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
6-foot-0 quarterback Thriston Lowry of the Rams is the league leader in passing yards this season with 882. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Raheem Bowden. The Richmond star has 18 catches for 427 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Hoke County takes on Scotland. As it stands, the Bucks are in fifth, while Patrick's team is in first.
Hoke County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,669 from 7,264. The advance stemmed from a 35-21 victory over Lumberton last week.
