On Friday, Conestoga Christian was beaten by Linville Hill 58-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Conestoga Christian has scored all season.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Dayspring Christian Academy at home against Veritas Academy on Thursday as the team secured a 64-34 victory. That 64-34 margin sets a new team best for Dayspring Christian Academy this season.
Dayspring Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Miracle Johnsons led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Huxta was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Conestoga Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Conestoga Christian couldn't quite finish off Dayspring Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2022 and fell 47-44.
