Soccer Recap: Cheltenham Takes a Loss

Cheltenham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Upper Moreland Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Upper Moreland this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in September.

Cheltenham's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Upper Moreland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheltenham will square off against New Hope-Solebury at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Cheltenham will be up against New Hope-Solebury's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.06 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Upper Moreland, they will welcome Springfield Township at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
