Football Game Preview: West Jones Mustangs vs. George County Rebels + How To Watch

For the first time this season, West Jones will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to square off against the George County Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither West Jones nor George County posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

West Jones managed to slip by Petal the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs were dealt a 45-6 defeat at the hands of the Panthers on Friday. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Meanwhile, George County never let their opponents score last Friday. They walked away with a 13-0 victory over Stone. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Thankfully for the Mustangs, Deuce Knight (who rushed for 44 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
