Soccer Recap: George Ranch Comes Up Short

George Ranch fell victim to Channelview and their airtight defense on Saturday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 2-0 loss to the Channelview Falcons.

George Ranch now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Channelview, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

George Ranch will challenge Clear Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Channelview, they will be taking part in a tournament against Austin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Channelview's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Austin's offense will have their work cut out for them.
