Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Beats Beech Grove for Their Fourth Straight Win

Greenwood came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Beech Grove Hornets by a score of 3-1.

Greenwood was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-8, 22-25, 25-19.

Greenwood was led to victory by Josh Thanga and Alfred Hmun. Thanga had 18 digs, while Hmun had ten digs. That's the most digs Hmun has posted since back in March.

Greenwood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matches.

Greenwood pushed their record up to 10-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Beech Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Greenwood has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Jennings County on the 10th. As for Beech Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Mooresville on the 6th.
