Volleyball Recap: Greensboro Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Greensboro took on Southeastern HomeSchool on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Greensboro and nudges their season record down to 22-7. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 14-12 Wilmington Christian Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 56.9% over those games). As for Southeastern HomeSchool, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Greensboro will venture away from home to take on Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southeastern HomeSchool, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Wilmington Christian Academy on the 11th.
