Flag Football Game Preview: Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats vs. Montgomery Catholic Knights + How To Watch

The Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats will take on the Montgomery Catholic Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Presbyterian hasn't scored more than 12 points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

It was a proper cat-fight when Trinity Presbyterian duked it out with Smiths Station on Tuesday. The Wildcats were dealt a 34-7 loss at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Montgomery Catholic had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 33-0 victory over the Buccaneers. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Montgomery Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Frances Rogers led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Molly Dwyer got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Trinity Presbyterian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Montgomery Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.

Trinity Presbyterian was dealt a bruising 40-6 loss at the hands of Montgomery Catholic when the teams last played back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Knights' Hayden Fitts, who threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns.
