Soccer Game Preview: Vernon Hills vs. Glenbrook North

Vernon Hills hasn't had much luck against Glenbrook North recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cougars will be playing at home against the Spartans at 5:30 p.m.

Vernon Hills managed to slip by Deerfield the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Warriors on Friday, falling 4-0. Vernon Hills just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Glenbrook North was forced to settle for a draw. They and Warren Township finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

With that draw, Glenbrook North's record moves to 2-1-1. As for Vernon Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1.
