Basketball Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

Waterloo came up into this matchup off a tough 20-point loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Springfield Tigers by a score of 44-41 on Friday. The Vikings have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Waterloo's record is now 2-17. As for Springfield, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Waterloo will head out to take on Western Reserve at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Springfield, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against East Palestine at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Palestine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season.
