Volleyball Recap: Mansfield Comes Up Short

Mansfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Dora Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

While Mansfield was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Devynn Ball and Kayley Kingery, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Addie Brooke and her 20 assists.

Mansfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-23. As for Dora, their win bumped their record up to 6-14-1.

Mansfield has already played their next match (against Lutie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dora does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
