Volleyball Game Preview: Buena Vista Bison vs. Cornerstone Christian School Cougars

The Buena Vista Bison will venture away from home to take on the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Buena Vista has now lost 18 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 2.

Buena Vista came up short against Mercy on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14, 25-12.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cornerstone Christian School duked it out with Louisville on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Lions. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Cornerstone Christian School took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-18.

Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Cornerstone Christian School, they now have a losing record of 11-12.
