Basketball Game Preview: Shawnee Golden Eagles vs. Seneca Red Hawks

Shawnee hasn't had much luck against Seneca recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Shawnee Golden Eagles will host the Seneca Red Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Seneca took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Shawnee, who comes in off a win.

Shawnee will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Central, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Shawnee managed a 54-48 win over Central on Friday.

Meanwhile, Seneca was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 69-64 to Waggener.

Shawnee's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-12. As for Seneca, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
