Basketball Recap: Plainfield Central Takes a Loss

Plainfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-25 loss at the hands of the Oswego Panthers. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.

Plainfield Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Oswego, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Plainfield Central will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Aurora East at 2:30 p.m. Plainfield Central is facing Aurora East at the right time seeing as Aurora East is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Oswego, they will face off against Oswego East at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
