Softball Recap: Port St. Lucie Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Port St. Lucie's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Central Cobras on Tuesday. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Cobras when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Port St. Lucie has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season. The victory snapped Central's losing streak at nine games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.

Port St. Lucie will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Okeechobee at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 26-17 win against Lincoln Park Academy on the 12th.
