Baseball Recap: Greendale Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Greendale's offense. They came up short against the St. Thomas More Cavaliers on Thursday, falling 14-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost four in a row.

Greendale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for St. Thomas More, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Greendale will face off against Lakeside Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Thomas More, they will take on West De Pere at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Phantoms' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Cavaliers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
