Baseball Recap: Lee Academy Comes Up Short

Lee Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Washington Generals, falling 15-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 last Monday.

Lee Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Lee Academy will square off against Magnolia Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington, they will host Carroll Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.5 runs per game this season.
