Basketball Recap: Sam Rayburn Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bells, Sam Rayburn was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tioga Bulldogs, sneaking past 42-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rebels have posted since January 7th.

Tioga's loss came despite strong showings from Ella Norwood and Kyndall Whitley. Norwood went 9-for-16 to rack up 20 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, while Whitley shot 42% from the field en route to 12 points along with four steals and three blocks.
