Soccer Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bishop Ward on Thursday, Maranatha Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 5-1 to the Bishop Seabury Academy Seahawks on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bishop Seabury Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 on April 3rd.

Maranatha Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maranatha Christian Academy will face off against Heritage Christian Academy on Thursday. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, they will challenge Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
