Ponderosa had won seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 6-3 to make it eight. They blew past the Bear Creek Bears 40-7. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their six-point performance the matchup before.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ponderosa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Anacleto, who threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns. Troy WcWhorter helped Anacleto out on the ground, picking up 68 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 52 yards and one TD.
As for Bear Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.
